Matthew D. Mills, Esq. graduated with honors from the Seattle University School of Law in 2008. Since then, he has been working in the fields of bankruptcy, family law, criminal law, estate planning, and other civil law. Matt has filed hundreds of bankruptcy cases on behalf of his clients and has helped many clients with their family law issues including divorce, child support modifications, and parenting plan modifications. Matt’s practice was primarily located in the Puget Sound area of Washington – Kitsap, Pierce, Everett and King Counties – until relocating to Washington County, Oregon area in 2015.
Matt is admitted to practice before the Oregon Supreme Court, the Washington Supreme Court, and before the Federal District Courts of Oregon, Western Washington, and Eastern Washington.
A native of Wisconsin, Matt earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1997, and worked in the field of biotechnology before and during law school. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, being outdoors hiking and camping, and working on his goal of running at least one marathon in each of the 50 states.
